"I didn’t like school before, but at PYB I just get to be me.  I don’t have to fit in.  I don’t have to even try to fit in because everybody fits in at PYB."
   Jose, age 18

Are you a young person between the ages of 17 to 24 who has dropped out of high school?  Are you committed to making positive changes in your life and motivated to succeed in a drug-free environment?  Do you want long term support in reaching your goals?  PYB might be the place for you.

At PYB, young people earn a stipend while they finish high school, learn a trade, and plan for the future.  All students receive long term support with issues such as finding a job, enrolling in college, and reaching personal goals.

The first step to becoming a PYB student is to attend an informational meeting.
When:  Any Thursday afternoon from 12:45 – 3:00.  Be on time!
Where:  Portland YouthBuilders, 4816 SE 92nd Ave, Portland, OR  97266
What:  Learn about PYB, take a tour, meet current students, and take entrance tests in reading, writing, and math.
